Job Summary
Greet customers on the sales floor with genuine courtesy, engage shoppers to determine their needs, and recommend appropriate products while promoting the Scheels Visa Credit Card. Grow personal sales by consistently hitting set goals and maintaining high visual merchandising standards. Support the team with freight processing, inventory restocking, and training new associates. Retrieve product from heights greater than 6 ft and navigate handheld inventory scanners and Microsoft Office. Attend all required product training and store meetings.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1-3 months of sales experience
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation
- Heavy work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Ability to demonstrate product usage within their shop and retrieve product from heights of greater than 6 ft
- Ability to navigate a personal computer and a handheld inventory computer/scanner
- Microsoft Office
