Job Summary
Provide daily leadership to the Shipping SRO team, ensuring clear communication of work assignments and priorities while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Oversee warehouse product placement, material flow, dock activity, and trailer scheduling to maximize efficiency, serving as the primary contact for carriers to resolve shipping and documentation issues. Maintain ownership of finished goods inventory accuracy by managing cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and verifying production postings using SAP S/4HANA. Apply root cause analysis to resolve process-related issues and drive operational excellence through data analysis and employee engagement. Work a 7AM–3:30PM schedule Monday through Friday with Saturdays as needed at the Ridgeley warehouse.
Required Qualifications
- Leadership experience in warehouse, shipping, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing operations
- Strong inventory management and warehouse control experience
- Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, ERP systems, or warehouse management systems
- Experience conducting root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, prioritize work, and drive operational results
- Mechanical and troubleshooting aptitude with the ability to support operational equipment issues
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- 7AM -3:30PM EST, Monday- Friday, Saturdays as needed
