Job Summary
Monitor production, loading, and shipping processes for Ammonia, ANF, Nitric Acid/Urea, and the port facility. Operate valves and instruments to adjust liquid levels, flows, and equipment speeds. Collect process data on daily sheets and request work orders to maintain operating order. Safely load trucks and rail cars with outgoing product and unload rail cars for plant upgrades or bulk storage. Clean and maintain railcars in the company fleet and demonstrate proficiency in switch engine operation. Coordinate shipping and loading with related jobs across the plant and port. Work 12-hour rotating shifts including weekends and holidays, with overtime required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduation/GED
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in chemical operations, oil/gas industry, railroad, construction or industrial setting
- Effective organizational, time management and communication skills
- Strong math skills, analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office IT environment including use of Word, Excel and Outlook
- Is physically capable
- Available and willing to work 12 hour rotating shifts
- Understands overtime is required in this position
- Agrees to work their fair share of overtime, which will include weekends and holidays
- Works in a safe manner promoting the health and well-being of the individual, his team and the environment
