Job Summary
Shipping Team Member responsible for supporting shipping, kitting, and inventory processes to ensure accurate and timely delivery of parts and materials. Duties include picking, packing, kitting, quality checks, loading/unloading, operating or learning material handling equipment (forklift), maintaining safety and organization, and communicating delays or issues. May serve as Shipping Lead to coordinate daily shipping workflow, prioritize tasks, verify shipments, coordinate carrier pickups, and train/guide team members. Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor environments with emphasis on accuracy, safety, and cross-department communication.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent experience considered
- Harper Industries pre-employment background check and drug screening may be required
- Ability to operate or learn material handling equipment (forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment
- Willingness to be cross-trained in multiple areas
