Job Summary
Oversee daily shipping operations to ensure accurate, on-time order fulfillment aligned with service level agreements. Supervise hourly employees, coordinate with carriers and brokers for pickups and deliveries, and resolve operational issues like order discrepancies and labor constraints. Manage shipping materials inventory, execute expedited orders, and maintain accurate system documentation for material movements and goods issues. Prioritize resources to meet daily and urgent shipment requirements while continuously improving processes for efficiency and safety.
Required Qualifications
- Bachler's from an accredited university or college
- high school diploma/GED with 5 years of experience in supervising warehouse/shipping
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Experience in distribution center or warehouse shipping operations
- Prior supervisory or lead experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with WMS/ERP and Oracle systems
- Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
