Job Summary
Oversee daily shipment planning and execution across both converting facilities, monitoring outbound loads and coordinating Work In Progress and Finished Goods transfers between sites and offsite warehouses. Supervise shipping loaders, conduct routine floor walks to inspect load quality and pallet integrity, and verify warehouse transfers for accuracy. Collaborate with schedulers and third-party logistics partners to manage trailer movements, coordinate swaps, and ensure schedule adherence while notifying Customer Service of delays. Enforce safety policies, lead staff training, and oversee equipment, labor, and resources to maintain lean operations. Manage monthly inventory processes, bobtail maintenance, cycle counts, and the CTPAT program. Maintain the Common Carrier spreadsheet to track shipments and carrier performance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse supervision
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5+ years of industry specific experience
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in a corrugated packaging or manufacturing environment preferred
- College education preferred
- Bilingual/Spanish preferred
