Job Summary
Lead and support the Shipping team to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant shipping operations. Prepare, stage, label, and verify customer shipments according to pick lists, packing slips, and shipping instructions. Review shipping documents for accuracy, organize finished goods and warehouse areas, and perform ERP system transactions while maintaining compliance with food safety and transportation requirements. Operate forklifts and material handling equipment as needed. Back up the Shipping Manager and coordinate with internal departments to support customer orders and continuous improvement initiatives. Full-time role with competitive hourly pay and benefits in a stable manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Forklift certification
- HazMat training
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends
Desired Qualifications
- College degree
- 3–6 years of related shipping, warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or distribution experience
- Previous supervisory, lead, or team coordination experience
- DOT, IATA, and/or marine shipping experience
- Ability to read and understand instructions in English
- Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
