Job Summary
Schedule production to meet established lead times and prioritize orders to eliminate backlogs. Prepare truck paperwork, set up trailers for correct product placement, and pre-pull necessary items while ensuring all sections are counted and recorded. Communicate with Department Heads and the Plant Manager on timelines, coordinate with office personnel for completed documentation, and conduct final truck checks to prevent mistakes. Maintain a clean, organized department, train and motivate team members, and resolve conflicts professionally while keeping overtime to a minimum. Ensure all personnel comply with safety policies and use required equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and banders.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- 1 year of people leading experience
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both orally and written
- Prompt and reliable attendance
- Ability to delegate tasks to team members
- Ability to resolve conflicts in a professional manner
- Must be able to operate a forklift
- Must be able to operate a pallet jack
- Must be able to operate a hand and pneumatic bander
- Must be able to operate a chop saw
- Must be able to wear ANSI approved work boots or shoes
- Must be able to wear safety glasses and gloves
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must pass a background check
