Job Summary
Supervise daily shipping operations, ensuring customer orders are processed, planned, and shipped accurately and on time. Coordinate shipping priorities with Customer Service, Logistics, and warehouse teams while communicating shipment status, delays, and operational updates. Monitor shipment activity, aging orders, shipping exceptions, and system performance across multiple transportation and warehouse management systems. Lead and develop shipping office personnel through workload management, scheduling, coaching, training, attendance management, and performance feedback. Ensure accuracy and compliance of shipping documentation, Bills of Lading, SOPs, work instructions, and company policies, including OSHA and safety standards. Track shipping performance, productivity, labor, and service metrics, identifying and implementing opportunities for operational improvement. Troubleshoot shipping, system, and customer-related issues while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and special projects. This first-shift, fully onsite role in Forney, Texas requires a bachelor's degree in business or supply chain and proficiency in warehouse management systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field — or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong general computer skills
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), shipping, and inventory control
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and develop benchmarks and KPIs
- Proven leadership skills with a willingness to lead by example and train others
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. — sponsorship is not available for this role
- This is a first-shift position with a regular schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- This role is based fully onsite, and not eligible for hybrid or remote work opportunities
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Knowledge of Manhattan WMS
- Familiarity with ISO Quality Management Systems (QMS)
