Job Summary
Prepare and complete shipping activities including packing components, constructing shipping containers or skids, creating documentation, and processing postage for domestic and international shipments. Construct and customize crates, boxes, and skids using carpentry skills, power tools, and shipping standards. Perform inventory control and material movement in SAP, including scanning, updating stock locations, and operating storage and retrieval systems. Execute order fulfillment and material handling tasks by pulling parts, delivering materials to shipping, packaging orders, and preparing kits for delivery. Receive and inspect incoming freight, unload trucks, verify components, and store materials properly. Requires forklift and overhead crane experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
- Clear results of a background check
- Clear results of a drug screen
- Minimum of a High School diploma or GED
- 2 years of manufacturing receiving experience
- Carpentry skills
- Use of power saws and other equipment to build boxes and skids
- Forklift experience
- Overhead crane experience
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Excel
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft PowerPoint
