Job Summary
Oversee shipping/receiving operations at SpaceX Canandaigua facility; create packing slips and bills of lading, maintain inventory accuracy, and support facility maintenance. Responsibilities include packaging, manifesting, tracking materials, coordinating with distribution centers, operating forklift, and data entry into accounts payable systems. Requires high school diploma, 3+ years in shipping or maintenance, forklift certification, familiarity with hazmat and international shipping, ability to lift 50 lbs, and ability to work onsite with potential overtime. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 3+ years in a shipping role or maintenance role
- Certification for operating a forklift or other material handling motorized vehicles
- Comprehension of shipping international goods
- Comprehension of HAZMAT shipping
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, climb up and down ladders; bending, grasping, sitting, pulling pushing, stooping and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position
- Must be willing to work overtime to meet critical deadlines if needed
