Job Summary
Manage daily shipment requirements by conducting look-ahead order reviews to meet customer dock dates and on-time-to-request targets. Pack and stock Finished Goods, validating contents, creating box labels, and confirming certificates and forms. Select approved carriers and service levels while creating customs documentation like ACE/AES export filings and commercial invoices. Monitor domestic and international shipments to ensure delivery dates are met and maintain appropriate levels of packing and shipping supplies. Facilitate continuous improvement activities, including work instruction reviews, and provide backup support for receiving and material handling cycle counts. Handle emergency shipments as needed to ensure timely delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in the field
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience
- Occasional availability to handle emergency shipments which may involve coming in after hours or staying late on short notice to ensure timely delivery
- Experience with the ACE portal, commercial invoices, and waybills
- Knowledge of export compliance / regulations
- Experience with ESD (electrostatic discharge) and FOD (foreign object damage / debris) philosophies
- General understanding of inventory management
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of FAA 8130's and Certificates of Conformance
- Experience in an Aerospace manufacturing environment
