Job Summary
Join our Shipping and Receiving Materials Handling team as a key link in our supply chain. As a Shipping & Receiving Technician, you will ensure safe, accurate, and efficient handling of materials and components. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean environment, accurate receiving, storage, and delivery of parts, collaborating with other departments, and performing necessary ERP transactions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or associate degree or technical certificate in logistics, supply chain or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in materials handling, shipping and receiving or warehouse operations within manufacturing- railroad, aerospace or automotive industry experience strongly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems required.
- Ability to read and interpret shipping and receiving documents, bills and inventory reports.
- Strong attention to details, accuracy and time management skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in shipping and receiving systems (FedEx, UPS, XPO, etc.) is a plus.
- Forklift and pallet jack experience is preferred.
