Job Summary
Coordinate daily crating and shipping activities to ensure equipment is properly packaged, documented, and shipped on schedule. Collaborate with Production and Project Managers to understand equipment completion status, forecast shipping requirements, and develop load plans to efficiently utilize available truck space. Manage domestic and international shipments via LTL, FTL, air, and ocean freight while preparing commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading. Verify heat treatment certifications and ISPM-15 marking requirements, perform final inspections of completed crates, and maintain accurate shipping records. Ensure all packaging and shipping activities meet customer, company, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years or more of related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general computer applications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to routinely lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
