Job Summary
Lead planning, scheduling, and coordinating shipping, receiving, and storage of materials while maintaining accurate inventory records. Ensure timely distribution to support production schedules and minimize downtime by applying inventory management knowledge to resolve logistics issues with minimal supervision. Train new team members, communicate effectively with staff and stakeholders, and perform SAP transactions for inventory and load management. Operate mobile equipment including forklifts, clamp trucks, and electric pallet jacks safely. Champion safety initiatives across the team and resolve material flow challenges proactively. Work a 12-hour 2/2/3 shift schedule in Richmond, VA.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-3 years warehousing or relevant experience.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Self-directed and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Office Suite, and SAP.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
