Job Summary
Arrange products for shipping per sales orders and load shipments efficiently to minimize delays. Coordinate activities with production and supply chain teams to ensure product availability and carrier scheduling. Maintain an orderly, clean, and safe work area while receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming shipments. Verify packing slips for correct part numbers, stage orders with accurate weights and destinations, and complete Bill of Lading paperwork. Operate forklifts to move finished goods from QC to storage yards, ensuring proper handling and equipment maintenance. Establish processes for accurate inventory counts and correct discrepancies per packaging standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be willing to work overtime and various shifts when needed
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs+ unassisted
- Must be able to work in potentially adverse conditions including: loud noise/setting, indoor/outdoor settings in potentially adverse weather conditions including rain, heat, and/or cold temperatures
- Must be able to stand, walk, squat, and/or lift for long periods throughout the day
- Must be able to Abide with all company safety, operational, and personnel procedures and policies
- Must be willing to become an authorized forklift operator
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years experience in logistics or shipping/receiving operations
- Minimum of 3+ years of forklift operation experience in warehouse setting
- Ability to interpret shipping documentation and packaging requirements
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, inventory systems and standard shipping software
- Proficiency in SAP, or other ERP systems, for inventory and order management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and highly organized
