Job Summary
Maintain the Warehouse Management System and validate inventory quantities by comparing outbound orders against manifests and invoices. Direct and coordinate Order Fillers at shipping docks while verifying route manifests and safety seals with truck drivers. Ensure all outbound shipments are properly packaged, palletized, and loaded into transporting vehicles. Check incoming and outgoing loads for damaged goods, recording inventory leaks or short supplies. Move objects weighing up to 55 pounds and work in cold temperatures ranging from 32°F to -10°F. Perform clerical tasks including preparing manifests, bills of lading, and storage receipts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience working as a shipping/receiving clerk or dock supervisor
- Forklift certified or able to pass within 30 days
- Proficiency in data entry, manifest verification, and navigating automated Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proven ability to lead loading dock crews during compressed timelines
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Ability to practice excellent judgment and maintain precise tracking metrics
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Must be able to lift or move products and supplies, up to 55 pounds
