Job Summary
Shipping & Receiving Specialist I role focusing on leading daily shipping/receiving operations, ensuring timely handling of perishable and time-sensitive shipments, maintaining and auditing inventory records, training junior staff, coordinating with vendors and internal teams, and ensuring regulatory compliance with domestic and international shipping rules (IATA, DOT). Requires strong organizational and problem-solving skills, proficiency with CMMS and FedEx/UPS systems, ability to lift heavy loads, and forklift certification is preferred. The position reports to on-site supervision and emphasizes SOP development and process improvements in a Cushman & Wakefield client-site environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics
- Proficiency in CMMS, Microsoft Office Suite, and FedEx/UPS systems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and push up to 100 pounds
- Forklift certification preferred
