Job Summary
Load and unload raw material and parts from incoming and outgoing containers, operate a forklift to pick materials from shelves, and package items according to customer and subcontractor standards. Maintain a clean and orderly shipping and receiving area, conduct dock audits to verify order quantities, and scan materials with appropriate tags. Weigh materials to ensure packaging forms and BOLs are accurate, provide production staff with necessary packaging supplies, and assist the Production and Supply Chain teams with daily shipping needs. Work a regular schedule from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- High School Degree or equivalent
- related experience
- Ability to use pallet jacks
- Ability to use banding device
- Ability to use scale
- Previous experience in manufacturing
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Forklift certification
- Ability to read blue prints
- Ability to understand functionality of parts and their components
- Ability to use measuring devices
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work independently
- Work a regular schedule determined by supervisory management
