Job Summary
Read computerized work orders to determine product quantities and types for shipping, then locate requested items in the warehouse. Use forklifts and pallet jacks to move products on and off trucks while verifying inventory and visually inspecting shipments for quality or damages. Document and report any product issues to supervisors, then pack, seal, and label materials using Radio Frequency scanning equipment to verify counts. Clean and organize the warehouse at the end of the shift. This role supports Lineage's mission to transform the food supply chain by ensuring efficient, temperature-controlled logistics from farm to table.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to identify products through reading, interpreting, and scanning pallet identification numbers
- Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
- Must be comfortable with various noise levels
