Job Summary
Shipping & Receiving Operator who uses forklift and pallet jack to move products on/off trucks, verifies inventory, inspects shipments for damages, and follows safety standards. Reads work orders to determine quantities/types, locates items in the warehouse, changes over pallets for picking, documents damages to supervisors, packs/seals/labels materials using RF scanning to verify counts, and helps keep the warehouse organized at shift end. Role requires ability to lift at least 40 lbs, work in variable temperature environments from cold storage to dry storage, and operate material handling equipment while maintaining accuracy and high attention to detail. Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage
- Ability to read, interpret, and scan pallet identification numbers
- Must be able to understand instructions in country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends
- Experience with forklift and pallet jack operation (implied by duties)
