Job Summary
Shipping & Receiving Operator I is responsible for learning and performing basic shipping and receiving duties for high-voltage EV battery packs and components, under close supervision. Duties include receiving and inspecting shipments, verifying documentation, preparing outgoing shipments, labeling and documentation for hazardous materials in compliance with DOT/IATA/OSHA, maintaining inventory control, and supporting safety training related to high-voltage battery handling. The role may involve operating warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) and contributing to EVBS logistics projects, with emphasis on accuracy, regulatory compliance, and safe handling of hazardous materials.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- up to 2 years of warehouse/logistics/operations experience
- basic computer and data entry skills (inventory systems, scanning tools, Microsoft Office)
- strong attention to detail
- effective communication and teamwork skills
