Shipping Receiving Material Handling Personnel - (1st shift 5/8's)

Job Summary
Receive, unpack, verify, record, label, and distribute incoming shipments of WIP, raw materials, and job-related items while inspecting for accuracy and damage. Prepare outgoing shipments with accurate counts, proper labeling, packaging, and documentation. Move raw materials, work-in-progress, and job items between work centers, staging areas, and vendor locations using forklifts or other industrial equipment. Identify inventory items for the control specialist group and maintain accurate records using computer systems. Coordinate material flow across departments and communicate discrepancies or needs effectively. Adhere to safe manufacturing and material handling practices, including LEAN and 6S initiatives, while supporting additional production needs as assigned. Perform duties indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- one – three years of relevant experience
- ideally in shipping/receiving and ERP systems like Syteline/CSI
- Proficient with Windows-based computer systems
- Ability to safely operate a forklift in compliance with safety regulations
- Capable of reading and understanding sales orders, inventory records, and shipping/receiving documents
