Job Summary
Move materials in tight, high-traffic areas using a forklift; stage raw material (steel rod) and finished product; load/unload; lift up to 50 lbs; maintain housekeeping and safety procedures to ALARA/ ZERO HARM standards; perform basic quality checks on finished products; train others as needed; operate in a manufacturing environment with trucks and personnel present; seek opportunities for professional growth and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to complete simple forms and understand simple written instructions
- Ability to perform simple arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals)
- Minimum of two (2) years' forklift experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Possess or be able to obtain a forklift operator certification
- Safely operate equipment in a close-quarter environment with various materials, trucks, and employees present
- Visually check quality of finished product
- Attention to detail and ability to train others as needed
