Job Summary
Manage all aspects of the receiving department by receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and ensuring proper documentation and date-stamping of boxes. Process required paperwork, maintain records, and complete cycle counts while tracking shipments and verifying receipts. Organize the backroom, assemble displays, and assist with planogram adjustments to maximize sales and customer satisfaction. Handle product transfers, price incoming goods, and follow up on special orders and shortages. Support business needs including MOD, customer service, and sales floor assistance as required.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of relevant retail sales experience
- 1-3 years of previous experience in receiving
- Strong organizational and record keeping skills
- An ability to lift repetitively
- Must be able to lift, bend and carry objects on a continuous basis
- Must be able to lift 20-25lbs
- Must be able to use necessary equipment
- Must be self-motivated
- Must be able to work independently
- Must wear safety shoes
- Must be available for weekends and evenings
- Must be available for varied shifts
- Must be available for holidays
Desired Qualifications
- A high school education
- Computer literacy skills
