Job Summary
Oversee receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping activities to meet production and customer needs while supervising a team of approximately 9-10 direct reports. Drive warehouse transformation to ensure efficient operations, maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, and optimize carriers and lanes across inbound and outbound logistics. Lead lean initiatives including 5S, standard work, and waste reduction, while ensuring equipment maintenance and strict compliance with safety and health regulations. Manage daily plan versus actual performance metrics and report productivity to stakeholders in logistics, procurement, and production. This onsite role in Danville, KY focuses on driving continuous improvement and process standardization within a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (logistics, supply chain, business administration, or related field)
- 5–7+ years manufacturing experience in shipping or materials management
- proven warehouse manager experience
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics
- Experience with warehouse management systems and SAP
- proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated leadership, team building, coaching, and change management skills
- Strong process skills for standardization, continuous improvement, and program management
- Analytical skills to monitor metrics and implement corrective actions
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Desired Qualifications
- APICS certification
- Experience with Precision transportation execution software
- Knowledge of import/export compliance, ITAR, and SOX compliance
- Background managing union-avoidance initiatives or culture change efforts
