Job Summary
Oversee all warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods while supervising, training, and motivating staff to achieve productivity and quality standards. Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock counts and coordinate with procurement and operations teams to manage stock levels. Ensure operations comply with health and safety regulations and company policies while identifying opportunities to reduce costs and increase efficiency. Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory status, and staff productivity, and coordinate with logistics and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment. Lead lean initiatives by driving 5S, standard work, and waste reduction activities to improve safety, flow, and overall operational performance. Assist in managing warehouse budgets for labor, equipment, and supplies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree
- 5-7 years' manufacturing experience in shipping or materials management within a fast-paced environment
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics
- Experience with warehouse management systems, SAP and inventory software
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated ability to perform the described role and responsibilities and obtain the desired results
- Demonstrated teamwork and team building skills in producing results and meeting organizational objectives
- Capable of assessing and developing individual and team skills and capabilities
- Able to create and maintain enthusiasm for new and challenging goals
- Must have strong process skills for standardization, continuous improvement and program management
- Strong analytical skills
- Working with Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint, etc.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Physical ability to oversee warehouse activities and operate equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor degree, preferably in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or related field
- APICS certification
