Job Summary
Shipping & Receiving Lead directs daily shipping and receiving activities while performing hands-on warehouse duties. Responsible for coordinating tasks, training team members, maintaining inventory integrity, ensuring accurate documentation, and serving as on-floor escalation for operational issues. The role supports the Warehouse Supervisor, drives safe and efficient execution of inbound/outbound material movements, and promotes standardized work and continuous improvement in a day-shift environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience required
- Experience in directing or leading daily work activities preferred
- Basic computer proficiency (Windows, email, ERP/WMS systems)
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- An acceptable combination of education and experience
