Job Summary
Lead Shipping & Receiving operations on 1st shift, coordinating loading/unloading, receiving/packing/shipping accuracy, and forklift handling. Responsible for staging loads, coordinating with freight carriers, preparing freight quotes/claims, and maintaining shipment files. Requires proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and teamwork via Microsoft Teams; emphasizes safety, continuous improvement, and adherence to shipping/domestic and international requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of twelve months of related experience and/or training (preferred)
- Excellent organizational, communication, and typing skills
- Must have or be able to obtain a forklift operator’s license
