Job Summary
Prepare items for shipment by assembling, addressing, stamping, packaging, and shipping merchandise or material. Arrange transportation of products, organize special courier pickups, and maintain accurate records for overstock, shipping logs, and incoming/outgoing shipments. Handle paperwork, perform day-to-day administrative tasks, order packing supplies, and communicate regularly with managers regarding billing questions or shipment delays. Maintain a clean and safe work environment while reporting safety hazards to supervisors. Requires good computer skills, forklift ability, and the capacity to work up to 10 hours daily with flexibility for overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Must have good computer skills including data entry
- Must have good English and mathematical skills
- Must have the ability to read, write and communicate clearly
- Must have good reading vision
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
- Must have the ability to use a forklift
- Must be able to work up to 10 hours a day, 5 days a week
- Must be available for overtime
- Must be flexible with hours
- Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC
- Must be able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor
- Must understand that access to ITAR products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents
- Must recognize Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation
- Must understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL)
- Must understand and follow Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US
- Must manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services
- High School Diploma
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with shipping tracking systems
- Prior experience working in shipping department
- Prior experience utilizing a forklift/forklift certification
