Job Summary
Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move bulk materials, load and unload goods from trucks and containers, and secure items for transport. Manage stock and inventory control, locate/move/stack stock, log activity, and assist with stocktaking. Prepare and secure loads for transport, wrap/label/verify purchase or work orders, and perform preventive maintenance on forklifts and related equipment. Follow safety regulations and company procedures to minimize hazards and protect merchandise.
Required Qualifications
- Valid forklift license or certification
- Strong attention to safety and ability to follow operational procedures
- Physical fitness for lifting, bending, and moving heavy objects
- Basic literacy and communication skills for reading work orders, logging inventory, and coordinating with team members
- Punctuality, reliability, and a positive attitude, with willingness to learn and adapt to different work environments
