Job Summary
Receive shipments, confirm accuracy, and maintain receiving logs. Prepare and review bills of lading for all shipments. Route orders to meet company and customer requirements, then track and expedit outbound shipments with carriers by scheduling truck line and pickups. Perform deliveries as needed, maintain records such as invoices and vendor receipts to verify rates and resolve issues, and process normal and special shipments. Participate in physical inventories and cycle counts. Perform other related duties as required. This role supports Franklin Water Treatment's innovative water treatment solutions division.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 0–1-year experience in a shipping department
- Forklift Operations
- Basic understanding of computer software such as the Microsoft Office suite
- Continually required to stand or walk and to reach with hands and arms
- Occasionally required to sit
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision
Desired Qualifications
