Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Job Summary
Shipping/Receiving Clerk responsible for optimizing loading/unloading at doors, creating/modifying carrier profiles, ensuring accuracy of shipping documents and bills of lading, completing operational documents, generating required reports, registering drivers per company rules, and providing documents to customers. Emphasizes teamwork, problem solving, adaptability, and good communication; CT-PAT compliance and occupational health/safety awareness are highlighted. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM; position located in Brampton with an emphasis on safety, quality, and a positive, determined attitude.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of transport/logistics work experience
- Experience with AS/400 (asset)
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to solve problems
- Ability to take initiative
- Ability to be flexible and adjust to changing priorities
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good communicator
- Good interpersonal skills
- Attentive to details
- Must be able to register drivers according to company rules
- Be able to carry out required reports
- Understanding of bills of lading and shipping documents
- Compliance with CT-PAT standards
- Willingness to work Monday to Friday 7 AM to 4 PM
