Job Summary
Prepare, package, and process outgoing shipments for customers and internal locations while coordinating logistics with UPS, DHL, and LTL freight providers. Receive, inspect, and accurately record inbound materials using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems to maintain precise inventory and shipment records. Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks, and learn hazardous materials shipping processes as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely movement of materials and support customer deliveries within the fast-paced warehouse environment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience
- Ability to work in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Experience using handheld scanners or inventory tracking systems
- Ability to learn shipping procedures, carrier systems, and warehouse processes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to safely operate or learn to operate material handling equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Strong shipping and logistics experience
- Experience processing shipments with UPS, DHL, FedEx, or LTL carriers
- Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience
- SAP experience
- Hazmat shipping knowledge or certification experience
- Reach truck, forklift, Big Joe, or other powered industrial equipment experience
