Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Ensure the effective and efficient movement of outgoing orders and incoming materials and supplies. Assemble orders, prepare goods for shipment including building boxes and crates, and use forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and other material handling equipment to safely move items in and around the facility. Complete shipping and receiving reports, verify accurate addresses and paperwork, and enter documentation into tracking mechanisms. Report damages and discrepancies for accounting and record-keeping. Maintain supplies and equipment, operate vehicles such as pickup or flatbed trucks, and assist with safe retrieval and handling of WIP, finished goods, and materials. Maintain an accurate inventory of WIP, finished goods, and materials including proper identification and protection. This role supports the manufacture or assembly of product in a thorough, accurate, and rapid-response manner within a manufacturing environment.
