Job Summary
Shipping, Receiving & Packaging Operator I supports daily shipping, receiving, packaging, and material handling in a fast-paced CN manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include packaging finished goods per customer specs and travelers, verifying quantities/part numbers/revisions/labels, reviewing final inspection before shipment, preparing/shipping labeling, coordinating domestic/local shipments, receiving incoming materials, entering ERP transactions, identifying discrepancies, operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment, and maintaining organized shipping/receiving areas. The role collaborates with Production, Quality, Planning, and Shipping to ensure on-time delivery and proper packaging of precision machined components for semiconductor and medical device industries. ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 compliance support, with emphasis on safety and documentation. Requires 1-3 years of related experience; high school diploma or GED preferred; ability to lift 50-60 lbs; strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1-3 years shipping, receiving, warehouse, packaging, or manufacturing support experience preferred
- Experience in manufacturing or CNC machining environments strongly preferred
- Experience handling regulated or high-precision products is a plus
- Forklift operation experience preferred
- ERP system and basic computer proficiency required
- Ability to read job travelers, packing instructions, and part labels
