Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Job Summary
Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy by thoroughly reviewing raw materials against quality parameters, performing gluten testing, and verifying Certificates of Analysis. Evaluate products for defects or deviations, cross-check COA details with physical shipments, and ensure outgoing goods are properly packaged and labeled against purchase orders. Document all inspection activities, report discrepancies, and collaborate with warehouse, purchasing, and production teams to resolve issues and maintain safety protocols. Operate a forklift and work the 7am to 3pm Monday-Friday shift. This role supports Our Home's mission to deliver wholesome snacks to communities across the U.S.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving or quality assurance
- Must be able to learn and understand the Warehouse and Production processes
- Understanding of the food industry and safety standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel & WMS Systems
- Basic Math Skills Required
- Exceptional, grammar, writing, and documentation skills required
- Teamwork and communication skills required
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Detail-oriented and accurate in data entry and recordkeeping
- Forklift Operation Required
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years related experience and training preferred
- WMS and forklift experience a plus
