Job Summary
Receive incoming shipments of raw materials, components, and finished products, verifying accuracy against purchase orders and inspecting for damage. Maintain organized storage areas, conduct regular inventory counts, and update records in the inventory management system. Prepare items for shipment, coordinate logistics, and ensure outgoing products meet quality standards. Operate and maintain shipping and receiving equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks while documenting all shipments. Collaborate with various departments to fulfill orders and address inquiries. This physical day shift role (7:00am–3:30pm, Mon–Fri) requires overtime and availability for nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid California driver's license
- Must be available to work nights/weekends
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 lbs
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment (certification may be required)
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to stoop, kneel and crouch
- Ability to bend
- Ability to crouch
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving within a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with inventory management software and shipping software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
