Job Summary
Log firefighter gear into the tracking system, query customer special instructions, and create job and production work orders. Assess dirty protective garments to determine the appropriate cleaning process, operate industrial laundry machines, and perform hydrostatic pressure tests on moisture barriers. Prepare garments for shipment by folding, bagging, and labeling, then pack cartons or prepare for FedEx and Route delivery while maintaining cleanliness in the shipping and receiving area. Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with flexibility for overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Professional and pleasant disposition, able to give all clients a positive customer service experience
- Experience working with computers including Outlook, Teams, and warehouse tracking systems
- Able to lift 30 pounds comfortably
- Hearing and vision required to be within normal ranges with or without correction
- Candidate should be dependable, hardworking and an effective communicator
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills required
- Must be flexible and willing to work overtime when needed to meet client needs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within a computerized warehouse, industrial laundry, and/or product maintenance environment considered a huge asset
