Job Summary
Shipping & Receiving Clerk at CBX Solutions: Verify and record incoming/outgoing shipments; prepare items for shipment; assemble, address, stamp, and ship merchandise; receive and unpack items; verify accuracy against manifests, invoices, or orders; prepare documentation (work orders, bills of lading, shipping orders); record shipment data (weight, charges, space, damages); deliver or route materials using hand-truck, forklift, or sorting bins; perform hardware pack-outs and packaging with labeling and postage; communicate with establishments to resolve damages, shortages, or nonconformance; manage inventory of shipping supplies; process customer/vendor returns and RMAs; required to perform other duties as assigned. Emphasizes basic computer skills, arithmetic accuracy, strong communication, and teamwork; physical requirement includes frequent lifting (25-50 pounds) in a construction/warehouse environment; travel to project sites possible.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Forklift certification preferred
- At least 6 months of relative experience
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test
- Basic computer skills – Outlook, Word and Excel
- Good communication skills
- Ability to accurately do arithmetic, read orders, write instructions and complete forms
- Ability to work closely and cordially with other staff associates
