Shipping/Receiving B Shift

Job Summary
Pull orders for assembly technicians, place parts in correct locations, and load/unload materials within the plant, yard, or work site. Visually inspect, assemble, and package products to customer specifications while operating lift trucks to move shipments. Maintain inventory accuracy and material receipt records via computer entry using SAP, Excel, and Word. Obtain certification to operate a fork truck and follow all safety rules, plans, and procedures. Work independently with little supervision during B shift hours (10pm-8am Mon-Wed, 8pm-6am Thurs), with overtime expected as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must obtain certification to operate a fork truck
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed
- Must be able to work OT as needed
- Must be very conscientious to maintain inventory accuracy and customer service measures
- Must follow all company policies and procedures
- Must be willing to learn multiple shipping and receiving processes
- Must be able to work 10pm-8am Mon-Wed and 8pm-6am on Thurs
- Routinely lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Close vision and depth perception
- Routinely reach with hands and arms and use hands to fingers
- Frequently required to stand and walk
- Occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Must be able to work OT as needed
- Must obtain certification to operate a fork truck
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 6 months experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Must be able to work OT as needed
- Eligible for night shift premium of 5%
