Job Summary
Shipping-Receiving Associate is responsible for shipping, receiving, coordinating traffic, warehousing inventories, communications and producing product and related shipping/receiving activities. The role involves ~70% forklift operation and ~30% other shipping duties, with emphasis on safety, clean environments, accuracy of packing, labeling and shipping documents, SAP/workflow utilization, and adherence to SQF procedures. Key duties include preparing bills of lading and packing slips, validating PO/GR in SAP, managing shipping documents, coordinating with internal teams to resolve shortages or quality issues, and ensuring timely inbound/outbound shipments while maintaining records and communication with supervisors and customers.
Required Qualifications
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Must have physical coordination to operate forklift
- English speaking, reading and writing skills
- Proficiency with SAP
- Knowledge of shipping protocols and procedures
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Ability to work overtime and alternate shift schedules
