Job Summary
Shipping & Receiving Associate responsible for picking, pulling, labeling and loading product to support timely distribution. Requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple projects. Candidates should be self-motivated, able to learn new systems, work with minimal supervision, and maintain safety and cleanliness standards. Must have excellent time management, prioritization, attendance, and teamwork. Responsibilities include processing high volumes of orders, maintaining adequate shipping materials, reporting defects, and demonstrating proficiency with product knowledge. Requires willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime on weekends and holidays. Physical demands include standing 8 hours, frequent lifting (40+ pounds, up to 75+ pounds), and the ability to operate a pallet jack (and sit-down forklift preferred). The role is based in the distribution/warehouse operations in Philadelphia, PA as part of Chobani’s distribution and transportation teams.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree preferred
- 6 months of relevant experience in Shipping and Receiving preferred
- Ability to operate palette jack and sit-down forklift preferred
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Physical requirements: able to lift 40+ pounds frequently and 75+ pounds occasionally
- Stand for 8 hours a day
- Occasionally lift 75+ pounds
- Push 300-400 lbs on rolling cart
- Able to work flexible hours and overtime on weekends and holidays
