Job Summary
Shipping & Receiving Assistant responsible for warehouse duties including receiving, shipping, record keeping, and using forklifts and other material handling equipment to load/unload trucks. Will assist with monthly inventory counts and maintain inventory records, follow safety protocols, and collaborate with the logistics team. Works with the Warehouse Lead to complete daily tasks before orders ship or production and to pack/receive materials. Staging duties may include receiving materials, preparing and staging items to be shipped, organizing incoming products, stocking, picking/pulling, and allocating orders efficiently. Opportunity for growth. Requires dependability, safety compliance, adaptability, positive workplace demeanor, interpersonal and communication skills. Training schedule initially may adjust; regular schedule is Wednesday-Saturday 7:00 am–5:30 pm after training. Starting wage $17.85/hr. Required Qualifications
- 21 years or older
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
- Comfortable driving and able to safely drive larger vehicles (no semis)
- Able to lift 50lbs, and able to laterally move 154lbs, by hand or with a hand truck
- Able to kneel and stoop occasionally
