Job Summary
Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for direct-to-consumer shipping and FBA, ensuring all packages are labeled correctly and meet shipping guidelines. Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to maintain accurate records, while inspecting and verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders. Coordinate with shipping carriers for timely pickups and deliveries, and update inventory management systems with incoming and outgoing stock. Operate a variety of forklifts and perform general warehouse duties such as restocking shelves and assembling products. Hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm. This role is a regular full-time, non-exempt, hourly position at Hardware Sales Inc. in Ferndale, WA.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a shipping, receiving, or inventory role, preferably in an ecommerce environment
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and shipping software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) as needed
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
