Job Summary
Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, including scheduling, staging, loading, and unloading trucks while safely handling palletized components. Inspect and verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, damage, and compliance with purchase orders, bills of lading, and shipping documentation; report discrepancies promptly. Receiving, label, and store new materials, components, and finished goods in designated locations while maintaining accurate inventory records and following OSHA and company safety procedures. Prepare shipping documents, bills of lading, and necessary compliance paperwork. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed to ensure proper packaging and handling of products. Maintain accurate records of shipping and receiving activities using SAP.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2-4 years warehouse, logistics, or shipping and receiving experience
- Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory control procedures
- Ability to read and interpret purchase orders, bills of lading, and packing list
- Effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organization abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain
- Willingness to work flexible hours, overtime, or weekends if needed
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with ERP systems, SAP
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and warehouse best practices
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook)
