Shipping Planner

Job Summary
Develop daily and weekly shipping schedules based on customer requirements and production availability, prioritizing outbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery while maximizing truck utilization. Coordinate with Packaging, Warehouse, and Transportation teams to release shipments, monitor backlogs, and resolve carrier issues affecting performance. Manage order readiness by verifying material availability and track open orders to support timely execution. Create and manage shipment documents in SAP, generate performance reports, and analyze KPIs including on-time delivery and freight costs to drive continuous improvement in shipping efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration
- 2–5 years in Shipping, Logistics, Transportation, or Supply Chain Planning
- Experience coordinating domestic and international shipments
- SAP (Shipping, Delivery, Transportation modules)
- Microsoft Excel (Advanced)
- Microsoft Office Suite
