Job Summary
Operate a sit-down forklift and pacer to lift, stack, and replenish products throughout the distribution center, adhering to strict safety protocols regarding speed limits, load capacities, and pedestrian traffic. Safely transport materials through narrow aisles and obstacles while maintaining organized work environments by sweeping floors and removing debris. Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate inventory levels and timely order fulfillment, occasionally assisting with picking, packing, and inventory counts. This hourly role requires a minimum of one year of PIT experience, proficiency with warehouse scan guns, and the ability to work flexible weekend schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of Warehouse organization procedures
- Good hand-eye coordination and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work in a collaborative team environment
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
- Able to lift and move heavy merchandise items
- Flexible schedule, including the ability to work on weekends, as needed
- Minimum of 1 year of PIT experience operating a sit-down forklift and pacer within a warehouse environment
- Previous experience utilizing a warehouse scan gun
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in reading orders and accurate documentation
- Adhering to all safety requirements; utilizing a safety-first mindset
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift-up to 50 lbs. unassisted
Desired Qualifications
- WMS experience preferred
