Job Summary
Load trucks efficiently using provided equipment, prioritizing delivery locations and driver routes. Unload, verify, ticket, and move material to appropriate departments while documenting all loads on load sheets. Put away and pull stock inventory using Stock and Open order reports, locating items in EPICS. Perform receiving functions for raw materials and supplies, set up packers, and stage material on skids. Check measurements for anodize shipments, band and ticket material for outside vendors, and package parts off CNC as needed. Maintain a clean workstation, wear required PPE, and comply with safety policies while working near moving mechanical parts. Complete special projects and assist other personnel as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma/GED
- Must also pass a skills-based test
- Must pass a company background check and drug screen
- Must be willing and able to work Mandatory OT on off days as necessary
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Must be conscientious, diplomatic, and detail oriented
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work efficiently and effectively
- Self-motivated
- Self-starter
- Able to participate in a collaborative environment
- Work in a safe manner always wearing all required Proper Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Comply with safety policies and procedures
- Accepts feedback from the Team Leader to ensure the bundles meet safety standards
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred Experience operating an overhead crane
- Preferred experience with forklifts and Combi-lift
