Shipping Manager Needed in the Great State of Texas

Job Summary
Track and handle materials, parts, products, and stock items while overseeing daily outgoing shipments and customer service. Read Bill of Ladings and Shipping Reports, maintain consistent communication with customers to ensure satisfaction, and manage all daily operations of an active lumber yard including scheduling inbound and outbound shipments. Monitor inventory status and supply usage, review vendor invoices for discrepancies, and keep management aware of delays or supplier issues. Motivate load building associates and commercial drivers while solving customer service issues and scheduling yard transfers. Work Monday through Friday in a high-paced environment with the ability to work overtime.
Required Qualifications

- Proficient with Microsoft office
